Coalition Capital Backs General Intuition's $320M Series A to Define the Next Frontier in AI
Amsterdam, June 25, 2026 - Coalition Capital today announced its participation in General Intuition's $320 million Series A, led by Khosla Ventures at a $2.3 billion valuation. The round also includes General Catalyst, Hedosophia, Jeff Bezos, Eric Schmidt, and Nico Rosberg, alongside researchers at Google DeepMind and MIT.
General Intuition is building large action models - the next evolution in AI beyond the large language models that defined the past decade. Where most AI systems have been trained on text and images, General Intuition trains on action: billions of decision-labelled gameplay clips from 17 million monthly active users on Medal, the world's largest platform for gaming moments. The result is a foundation model that can perceive any environment, predict what happens next, and generate the right action in real time - across virtual and physical embodiments.
The company is led by CEO Pim de Witte and co-founder Iggy Harmsen, who bring together the research teams behind DIAMOND, IRIS, and GAIA-2, with work spanning world models, reinforcement learning, simulation, and autonomous driving.
